Hi Everyone,

I recently had my brake discs machined because of shudder. I was wondering what caused the shudder in the first place? It was there when I bought the car.

Thanks,

Andrew.

Hmm OK, was just curious. It was done under warranty, so I'm happy. I forgot to ask, how does a swaybar work?

More or less it uses the leverage gained by downward pressure on the suspension that is on the outside of the corner, to compress the suspension on the inside, in an attempt to reduce roll and keep the car flatter . . . To an extent it links the two sides of the car together to work in tandem more than independently . . .

ummm . . here's a link --> http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question432.htm
