Has anyone considered getting "Quiktrak" for their cars?

Just curious since there was a "notice" about not giving to much info about your car. Alarms are good, but easy to get around, quiktrak is a bit harder.

If anyone needs info or prices please let me know.. If your car goes missing..... i have NOTHING! to do with it *grin*. btw make sure u have a TE series.... :HAHA:

Nah but seriously, consider it if your paranoid about your car.

Or a Pager System for your existing Car Alarm

Wanna know what I dod with my last QuikTrak system?

I cut the wiring, pulled it out of the car, literally drove to St Leonards (their Head Office), and threw it at them.

How easy is it to get around? I was able to isolate the quiktrak module in my friend's car within 15 seconds. Once you find it, unplug the wiring and throw the box out the window. Car is then yours!

Steer clear of this overpriced, woftam product.

Yep did some research on that ages ago, quicktrak is crap!

I think racv has the better option if you wont to save on what pete explained above

They have 6 points in the car which need to be traked before the system is totally dead

I priced nrma,s CAR COM.for my wrx (just sold) which apprently uses gps

technolgy with its system and is allot better than quicktrack but

for $2400- installed + $365 pa for monitoring

Which doesnt stop the car from being stolen or destroyed

when the car is moved with out the owner code Nrma get in

touch with the owner to identify if the car is stolen then they telll

the driver to stop and then the police which are told

where the car is and then if only safe will the nrma immobilise the

car ... If my car got stolen for one i would nt want it back as the car isnt exactly used for sight seeing when riped off
