Is it possible and if it is does anyone know where to get a stud pattern on a set of mags changed and how much does it cost.

The mags I have are basthurst globe style (not sure if genuine) with a 5 stud pattern for pontiac. it is just a little to big.

cheers.

I've been told it is illegal. Best try a good wheel repair place to be sure.

i would not drill the rims. that will make them unstable. i have seen it and it will be a bad day for you if they fail. the metal/material in the rim is designed to take so much stress and to cut in them to create a new pattern would more than likely cause them to fail.

Do you know if the backspacing is the correct backspacing? Also if it is not then i would look at some custom spacers? i have seen some Impala's with Corvette rims. to achieve this they need to have spacers and the bolt pattern changed. i have a few names here that can make these for any car.

These are made out of one piece of billet. then the new bolts are drilled in.

i would look at that route first before you go and drill any rims or even your hubs..

never heard of redrilling wheels to suit a different stud pattern, like has been said this would cause it to be weak. Don't like the sounds of it, and if it can be done am sure it will cost big $$$.

Thanks for the replies guys.
the spacing is about 100mm.
whats the smallest spacing that can be had on an XF?
I thought it might have been bad, but I also thought I might get lucky....guess its not my day, oh well

thanks again.
