Is there any tricks to successfully removing door mirrors on the XB coupe?

I have the nuts off the LH mirror but it is still solid against the door. I am having trouble prying the plastic seal thing on the studs off.

The RH mirror nuts don't want to budge and a small crack appeared in the mirror itself.

Fairly common problem unfortunately.I've had the same problem heaps of times with the same results.If the nuts are off it should come off,but you may have to wiggle.If the mirror cracks it's time to get a hammer!

Yeah they are a pain .The biggest problem with getting the nuts undone is the bolt theard is not the same all the way so the nut will get stuck and unfortunatly will wreck your mirror by turning the special bolt around in the plastic causing the mirror to become useless .
If you get the mirrors off in one peice and you go to put them on retap the bolts so the theard is even enough to turn the nuts with out turning the bolt and wrecking the mirror .
