ok, the story goes like this:
i am looking for an xg xr6 dash to replace the old quasi-digital cluster in the old ute. (someone mutters something about rockinghorses and poop...)
talking to the person at a wreckers and he gave me the impression that eb/ed dashes will fit as well and work, damn sight easier to get a hold of too.
is it possible to adapt an eb / ed xr-series dash into the 85 xf ute or do they need the computer interface like the later el-type units do?
do they actually fit the standard xf dash?
