[Mud man]

I can't post any pictures because it really hurtrs for me to look at it right now. I'm looking for another cab so I can swap it onto my truck but I need some help.

I have really heavy duty swing set style hoist made of Huge I beam and Angle iron that i plan to use to lift the cab of the chassis with a 3 ton chain block.


Questions:
1. How many things are connected between the chassis and cab and are they easily disconected
3. How many cab mounts are there and are they easy toget at?
2. How many manual shift extra cabs are out there? Thats what I need..

I have changed motors and stuff but I haven't worked on a ranger before.:beerbottl

What year and exact model would help.

But...SHifter linkage, brake master and lines, ground wires, wiring harness, radiator and AC lines, you should be able to handle it if you've changed motors before. Just go slow and if it won't come off don't keep pulling, stop and find what is holding it up.

Ranger has six cab mounts...easy unless they are rusted up. The front two are the worst and most likely rusted of all of em. Get some urethane cab mounts while you're at it.

Should be some of those cabs around, not quite as popular as the regular cab, but you can always cut the carpet hole and there is usually a block off plate for the floor shifter.
