Hey,

about 2 years ago i was mucking around with the trip computer on my brothers EL2 Fairmonth Ghia and I came across a secret stop watch. I searched the owners manual and there was no mention of it. If you wanna know more, reply here. I will be willing to tell you how to do it if you don' t know already.

Here it is:

Bring the computer to a particular search function, any will do, ie distance left with fuel. Keep the reset button down for 10 seconds and a stop watch will come up. once in there, to start it, you press reset, to stop i think you do the same thing. to reset you hold o.speed and reset together, and to get out, just press search. if that isn't exactly right, just trial and error to find the functions

Yeah very very true.

I am just wondering why the Trip computer has this function, but there is no mention of it in the manual. I was so proud when i found it.

Well, hope it brings everyone as much happiness as it brought me. Hahahaha.

The stopwatch function may not be mentioned in the user manual, but it is documented in Volume 1 of the workshop manual ;)

I hope this attachment works
