My 95 LX, HPP has a Hypertech power programmer, Transgo shift kit, Flowmaster Dual exhaust. I was wondering how the 3.73 gears would affect my performance and gas mileage. Right now, I am pretty happy with the performance. She shifts VERY firm and will even snatch second if I shift manually. I haven't gotten a chance to run her at the track yet... But I bet she's alittle faster than stock....

My opinion is yes you should.
I have about the same setup as you do and when I installed 3.73 gears…. WOW…
In most driving situations I get about the same fuel mileage and its not always downshifting into 3rd Every time I climb a grade plus when you stomp on it the
Performance increase is pretty dam good considering the size of the car.

Holy Cow!! 3.73 gears are in and man what a difference!!! I hope I can keep my foot out of her at every light, otherwise, I better buy stock in Goodyear and Amoco. :wink2:
