i have a 97 ford taurus with the 3.0 OHV and i was woundering if there are any kits out there to put a turbo on or a supercharger. Im looking to make a sleeper out of this to show all those imports up. if there is no kits out there is there a way that i could interchange one from another car. all the help would be a huge help.

The MTX-75 transmission from the V6 Contour/Mondeo/Cougar/Puma (depending on what you got in your part of the world) will bolt to the 3.0 Duratec in the taurus. However getting it to work in the taurus that wasn't built for a manual transmission is a whole other issue.

yes, but remember, there's fitment issues as well. For example the Gen 3 taurus doesn't have provisions to mount a shifter or cluch pedal. Tranny mounts would have to be fabricated. Custom axles might be necessary.
