Well as some of you may know im doing up an 88 ea spak. Here is a bit of an update. Dads came to the party and found a motor(which he is paying for till i pay him back hehe)its out of a 96 ef fairmont which was hit between the drivers door and back door then scraped along the side towards the backend.
The motors done 77,000k and sounds sweet. Its currently at ford wreckers getting put in.The guy said its gonna be hard to put the mpfi in so hes keeping it cfi(i think he couldnt be bothered) hes supplying and fitting it for $1200, long motor only. Am i being ripped off??
Its been hard trying to find a good e series motor,most done 180,000+.Can i put a ea 3.9 mpfi stuff onto the ef(ecu,manifold basically the same way as if it was a 3.9 cfi motor)??
I am also going to repair and respray it as there a dents in the doors and the paints shot. Any tips or guides on how i go about would be appreciated!!
