Anyone had any of these problems before???

1) Battery light staying on in the car when the ignition is turned off. 0.5A draw through battery. Pulled fuses, cant find leak. (have to take batt off as it drains it in 1.5days)

2) If break pedal is pushed the cluster/fuel relays fire up as if car has been switched to on. Doesnt matter if break light switch is disconected.

Like i said WIERD!!!!

You have an earth somewhere.

I'd say a wiring loom has rubbed and the bare wires are touching the chassis.

yeah, if i remember the way the wiring is supposed to work, i thing you should be looking for a short to earth between the alternator light bulb and the back of the alternator....possibly even the voltage regulator in the alternator is buggered and is providing the short to earth itself.

cant help with the brake pedal thing though....they might be related with a bit of luck!

im guessing they are related, as im assuming that the break pedal has rubbed against a wire and shorted it to earth.

Ill look at it ove the next few days.
