Hi to all
does anybody know what putting XR6
plugs into a standard 6 will do?I have an
EF 11 OPT20 (ex cop)and was wondering what would happen with XR plugs in it???

The xr plugs are possibly cooler,better for h.p and h/compression,may foul slightly if driven slow long distances.[Unlikley?]

What spark plugs are recommended for an XR series?..also any truth in the rumour that regapping them from 1.0 to 1.3 increases fuel economy noticeably?..

The xr plugs have a longer electrode which led me to believe they run hotter??
as for the 1.3mm gap i haven't heard anything
An engine builder told me that indexing the plugs(getting the gap pointing to the exhaust valve) will give you a few kw's
