Ok so i went out and bought what i was told were "Pre-Gapped" sparkplugs for my 73 Ford Maverick (250 straight 6). I come to find there not pregapped and the place i bought em from doesnt have any of them nor a manual for my car so i can gap em myself.

Seeing that i lack a chiltons of haynes for information like this i figured heres a good of a place as any to ask, What is the proper factory gapping for a 250 straight Six

There just plain ol Autolite 46's. Ive not put the money into highercost sparkplugs.

And now i feel like a total idiot because the last place i woulda thought to look for the information im seeking was the mfg's site... :( its .035

I had figured that because my car is 30 someodd years old, like most sites they wouldnt cover it.

Since you don't have a manual here is some more info:
Plug gap .034
Point dwell 37
point gap with dual diaphragm .027
point gap with single diaphragm .025
Timing (auto) 6B
Fuel pump pressure 4-6
Idle speed 600/500
firing order 153624 clockwise rotation
Hope this helps:hy:
