its good to have a discussion with somone who knows what they are talking about :)

BTW, what do you make of these specs for a 15" sub bass driver

VAS = 160 l
Qms = 4.3
Qes = 0.39
Qts = 0.36
FS = 19hz
RE = 3.2 (1.6per vc)
Le = 4.2mH (2.1 per vc)
Mms = 345g
Sd = 749cm^2
BL = 18.5
Xmax = 34mm (one way linear)
Pmax =1600wrms

Absolutely phenomenal if the one way linear Xmax is to be believed.
Tell me more, price, availability.
It's the sort of driver which I'd be interested in using in our home sub woofers.

Yeh I know about this driver, it is the one we are looking at using in our top of the line sub instead of dual Shivas, which we are currently using in all our subs as it is already very impressive.
