I've read the threads and my situation remains to be a little different. Speedometer just quit working after parking and a restart in about 4 days. My check engine light has been on for all the bank sensors and likely MAF (I have not had time yet to replace these) for about 1 1/2 mo. There is no ABS light on, the cruise works, the odometer is working, the wipers and washer work. The only thing is the light for the HVAC went out. Fairly new vehicle to me ~ 1998 Ranger, abt. 129K, 5-speed ; either the bulb is burned or there is not one indicating the parking brake is engaged - (since so many bulbs need replacing; does anyone know if there is a low fuel warning light? I have not taken the time yet to pull the instrument cluster). Thanks ~

You should have it scanned (purchasing one isn't a bad idea, they're not that expensive). Before you go replacing a bunch of sensors, figure out if the sensor is bad or if you have a mechanical issue. For instance, if only 1 O2 sensor faults, it's probably the sensor. If both on the bank or both banks fault, you probably have an air leak.
