·I Have an 88 Bronco ll With a 2.9 MFI. When the base idle is set at 1500 rpm the truck starts and runs great but when I set it down to the 700 - 800 rpm that it is supposed to be I have to crank it for at least 10 seconds for it to start, it goes into its fast idle, cuts down then stalls. I do this 2-3 times then it runs great again. It does this hot or cold. I have replaced the tps but it did not help. What other sensor could be causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated!
