Got mine dynoed this morning at Herrods by Rob,

Stock Auto GT with no mods got 215.4 RWK, with a twisted tailshaft. Sort of happy with that expected a bit more.

Sound's good for an auto with no mod's, how many klm's has the vehicle got though?.

I don't think there is enough ks on it yet to get to dissapointed, but it might be a bit of a worry if 215 kw is twisting tail shafts, what will happen to modded GTs tail shafts that have 255-260kw?

Isn't the tailshaft supposed to twist? How else do you get power to the rear wheels? lol.

Based on what I have read on this forum about other cars, I would expect another 10 or so kw at the rear wheels after 10000km.

A few more klm's and you will probably see a few more,I would be happy with that.

Mine is being dynoed tommorrow, so I will post it as soon as I can. It is the stock manual, The Freak of Nature according to Cam. So it will be interesting to see what it does.
If anyone has dyno figures on the GTs, stock cars, can they post them, Id be keen to see what the differences are.

Once you have more than 2000k's on the clock, power differences after that will be insignificant, if any.

Sorry (Soxx) but apparently with the GT's they have to do at least 10,000 before they start to perform to their max power.

I don't believe it, no engine I've ever built, or that I'm aware of will produce more power after 10,000k's as opposed to 2000k's.
If the engine isn't 'loose' enough to rev freely with minimum friction after 2000k's, then it was built with waaaay to tight clearances.

Soxx you are spot on.I had mine tested at 5300kays and then at10000kays and the power output was 1kw out.I have also run the car with similiar figures on the track.

Was it a Stock read out, If so what was it??? :bsr:

Stock read out was 229.5kw and 241.2kw with a exhaust both runs done on the same dyno.

Mine was 243.7 @ 12,000 km bog stock running on BP ultimate OAT 33 deg, I have 38,000 now and it feels even better. When dynosteve comes back from canberra supernats I will have it done again.

From what i've been told the ford computer has a hold back feature that limits the engines performance until it reaches 10,000k's. The other factor is that the engines are all hand built, so it would have to depend on the quality of the build.

The so called hold back feature is not true , i have disscused this subject with the engine managment people at Ford and assured me that it does not happen.
