Well its final! My Probe is recieving a much awaited new paint job at the end of the month. I'm keeping it black and adding a few coats of bright blue pearl and I'm thinking about painting black GTS style stripes that go all the way down the bumpers.

The idea here is that in the light when you can really see the blue peal, the black stripes will stand out, but at night when the pearl isnt as noticable the stripes wont be either. Subtle but different. What do you guys think? I only have a couple weeks to decide.

but I would really have to see it in person to decide.
I also tend to lean twards the simple look but it sounds interesting, tough choice.

Hmmm to tell you the truth it might look nice... But I can't picture a black car with same color stripes. And it would depend on the tone of the vinyl I think, how much will the stripes stand out when you can't see the pearl. Dunno, would REALLY have to see it to give an opinion.
