Stuck In Park
2003 Ford Taurus stuck in park, tail and brake lights are operational. I’m thinking that the Shift Lock Solenoid is shot. I live 60 miles from a Ford Service Center and this is my only vehicle. I need someone to give me step by step instructions to replace this item. Thank you.

Even if brake lights are working it might be your brake light switch malfunctioning
