I have an EA Falcon. To replace the sump gasket, would it be easier to remove the engine or drop the crossmember? What do you think? Cheers

Cheers for the input.
I guess i don't have to worry about things like the exhaust or any lines, tubes or wires stretching either?
Cheers again.

the easiest way on EA-ED is to cut the box tube brace out, remove the sump without touching anything else and then weld the brace back in after you have replaced the gasket.. It is a 20 minute job

If the gaskets just seaping a bit, just try some stp oil stop leak. Mine was leaking a noticeable ammount onto the garage floor, but I chucked some stopleak in when I changed the oil. Not a drop since, cost 6 bucks.
