Guys im looking for a set of front superlow springs for an AU V8 ute, as well as lowering blocks for the rear.

ive been told you cant use lowering blocks on the AU's

apparently have to get it re-bent?

could be wrong though, actually hope i am

Correct, rear leaf sprigns should be reset, lowering blocks are bad on au utes.

I'm sure I paid around $120 -$150 to get mine reset 3" lower.

thanks for that info fellas, thats handy to know, glad i posted here first - i was just going to go buy them.

Who does spring resetting? Do i just go to a suspension joint?

I beliebe K-mac in sydney does it...but that probably doesn't help you much....but yeah, good suspension shops shoulc be able to do it...

Re-setting is the way to go, lowering blocks are crap.
It's a good idea to add another leaf when re-setting lower, as you need the extra stiffness so as not to bottom out on the bump rubbers.
Don't let anyone talk you into re-seting the front coils though, buy new ones.

Yup - just go to your regular suspension joint. If they can't do it, they'll tell you who in your area can.
