[One Ford Drone]

My 140k service is coming up next week but I would like to know what is needed to fix the following problems...

When at idle, my power steering pump makes a high pitch whine. I bought some power steering fluid, topped it up but that didn't fix the problem. Will it need to be recoed?

When driving, the rear suspension gets real squeaky... Is that because of the bushes? Just use grease?

The last major problem started to happen once I got the front springs and shocks fitted. I am not sure if it is because of dodgy installation or if something else decided to die on me... This is most noticeable when reversing. When I turn the wheel either right or left, you hear a clunk from either the drivers side front wheel or passengers side wheel. Sometimes it happens when you apply the brakes... The rotors and pads are quite new (installed about 2 weeks ago). Would this have something to do with the suspension, brakes or steering rack?

When was the last time you did a power steering flush? yes, you need it done annually like your coolant. I didnt know this either until my rack and pump crapped itself recently, it cost me.......wait for it.........$1300 to get fixed! :AAHHH: The was mainly because its a V8 and parts are harder to come by.

Im not willing to say if your pump is knackered or not but get it professionally checked by 3 independant mechanics.

The rear suspension could be because of your rear trailing arms (unlikely) unless you've done a heap of k's. Or the rubbers on your shocks have lost their grease.

Like I said b4, get it looked at or you'll be guessing till something breaks!
