I had trouble getting my sync 2 downgraded from 3.10 to 3.08 so I thought I would do a step by step outline to do this downgrade.
1. You will need to download two files
"http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/swparts/Gen2v38build15128updatepackageNARev2.zip"
The file is named Gen2v38build15128updatepackageNARev2
and
autoinstall.lst from - "https://www.dropbox.com/s/dx84pykqcckrr7j/autoinstall.lst?"
2. Unzip the first file to a USB drive and then delete the existing autoinstall.lst file and
replace it with the autoinstall.lst file you just downloaded.
3. Insert the USB drive into the USB slot in the Sync/radio module. Go to settings and
install the new file into your Sync system.
Notes - The USB drive must be formatted in FAT32 not NTFS. The USB directory should look like this- SyncMYRide - file folder
autoinstall.lst - LST file
DONTINDX.Msa - MSA file
4. This will take about 15 minutes and the engine needs to be running. after the full
install you will now have 3.08 reinstalled on your Sync.
5. Then you will be able to use FORSCAN for the programming
