The new 2018 Ford Expedition has been priced by Ford in the U.S., with the entry-level trim line receiving a $4,750 hike over its predecessor.

Under the new pricing structure, the base Expedition XLT will start from $52,890 including destination, while the new Expedition Max model, which that replaces the larger EL variant, will have a starting price of $55,580. Opting for all-wheel drive will add around $3,000 depending on the trim level of the vehicle it’s applied to.

If you’re looking for more luxury, the well-equipped 2018 Ford Expedition Limited starts from $63,780, or $66,465 for the Max variant. That represents an increase of $6,540 and $6,575, respectively.

The price differences don’t stop there, as further up the model lineup is the Ford Expedition Platinum with a price tag of $73,905. That’s $8,505 more than the previous model. The Max version starts from $76,595, or $8,540 more than before. CarsDirect says the most significant increase is on the Platinum Max 4×4, which starts at $79,740 or $8,650 more than the previous generation.

The all-new Ford Expedition FX4, which was introduced just this week and brings with it a hoard of off-road-oriented content, is priced from $63,155.

You can expect the 2018 Ford Expedition to arrive in Ford dealers this fall.
