not having driven thr HP model , probably not.. But it is better than my mates S..<grin>.. and a whole lot better than the KE laser TX3..
It sure is fabulous to hear the roar when i open it up...

The White isn't actually my favourite colour... but it does have redeeming features.. like tooling down the RH lane of a freeway with headlights ablaze and every man and his dog getting out of your way...<grin>...

Yeah nice car, I've never been in a VCT XR6, but with 172kw on tap it must be pretty quick. Is the sound any different from the stock intech engine.

XR6 HP Vs XR6 VCT

My dad works at Ford so I have driven both XR6 HP and VCT in both manual and automatic form...

The VCT does go a little harder and sounds much better...and the manual is hepas better also

to tell you the truth.. ( and i risk major flaming here as i know the guys from the NSW tickford owners group are an integral part here..) i'm not sure that the club is quite the place i want to be at the moment..

As you can see by me posting this at some godawful hour of the morning, i spend a lot of time during the week doing work stuff and my weekends are for my wife and daughter. Now, they're not the type to go cruising on a Saturday and on Thursday nights, so unfortunately, that's not the scene for me..
Perhaps, when i get more time, more money and more motivation, then i can become a contributing member and then i can give the club the assistance and support it deserves.

With the recent stuff such as proposed Displays at the GMC 400, i cretainly see this as a step in the right direction.

Again, i must re-iterate that this is only my opinion and i do not mean any disrespect to the NSW or any state XR/ Tickford club, so please do not take any of this as a personal insult or attack. It is nearly 3 in the morning after all...

I wish i could take the credit for the Photos. A mate of mine had just picked his new 2 megapixel Digital Camera (IT Boys have all the Toys) and as the car was less than a week old ( to me) it just seemed the right idea.. we took a whole bunch of them.

One day soon, we'll get his Black S and my White XR and a good sunny day and get some really good shots...
