This is where it all began (Unlike with the EB, Tickford had input on the design from its inception, through to completion - I know the EB had the Tickford wings)
The XR6 (Well half of the XR Series anyway)
With a few mods.;)

I must admit that I like the EA-ED too. A real nice clean one still looks good over ten years after they were released.

WULOS; some one stole two cylinders and straightened the engine :wink2: , I'd be after them for doing that...:wink2: :CraZ: :)

Answers to a couple o questions.

Car came into my possesion 25th Oct 1995 (Night I proposed - yep my head was spinning)
It was the SalesManagers Car at a ford dealer up here - had 55000 on the clock
Car now has 135k on her - looks better in real life (Except for a few stone chips, & the paint flaking on the rear spoiler - typical for the rubber spoilers that they use)
I'm still looking for the other 2 cylinders as well, everyone that's heard her thinks she's an 8, & with the velocity stack air intake most people think she's a turbo as well (Has enough go with a couple of the other mods that've been done to catch a few "doubters" out.)
Photo's were taken only a week or so ago - car IS street driven, not hidden away in a garage, so if you're out, you may catch a glimpse of her (does make it harder to keep her nice though):mmm:

Wulos,

Beautiful ED there. Like the round lights as well.
Yeah your baby must be abit of sleeper at the lights.

I agree with everyone here, it's good to see a really good nick E series falcon, shows that fords do last with abit of TLC.
We need more falcons in general to be in the condition like yours.
How does the pod filter you fitted go, you noticed a difference in power.

Makes me very pissed off at people who do not look after their fords and bag out on them say that there no good. :fmad:

Here, Here.. Any opinion those people have on all sorts of cars goes right out the door as far as I'm concerned. If you love your car, you take good care of it, no matter what make it is.

Yeah i agree with you about people should look after any car one owns, but it particularly annoys me when they bag fords out.

Compared to the K&N in the standard air box, you can definitely "feel" the difference between the two air filter arrangements. The RAM pod is tuned for around 2000rpm, which helps low end torque a little, it also provides that WRX Clubspec growl to the induction noise if u step on it hard, or a nice whistle if you take it easy around 2-2500, which with the 5 speed is where I generally drive it. A little into the future I'm looking at changing the piping from the pod to the throttle body.
He who bags his / her car, doesn't deserve to call themselves a car enthusiast!

Spot on Wulos... I've seen many a fine car in my day and not all of them were Fords. More's the pity, but they were still some damn fine vehicles..

As you may guess from my name, I love my XF.
At the moment it is in standard form, except for 10" XE clutch, which came with the XE I bought to put the manual in the XF.
In time it will be getting lowered a touch, straight gas I6, T5, and 3.23 rear.

At the moment it is definately not the best looking XF around but it is in very good nick considering its age.

I agree with looking after your car, min is not exactly the type of car to show off, but I still look after it, thats why its still going.

Paul.

An extra special thanx to both The Doctor, and Ford Man (regarding the avatar). Those that have been members for a while "should" recognize the boar. Those that don't recognize it, don't despair, you haven't seen the last of it;)
More will be revealed in due course......
Stay Tuned:rolleyes:
