$350 is more than most people pay for a brand new, good design tb. I don't recommend doing it, either. They're not that hard, I've done them on both my cars (those of you who know me from pt, I'm matt89glturbo) I will start doing these as part of kamikiazi engineering, and will charge way less than $350. I'm thinkin' like $50. I don't upgrade the butterflies, though. Bigger butterflies tend to create a rough idle, and usually only increase throttle response. The most I've ever seen as a gain on a dyno is between 1-2hp. I have yet to get my Gl turbo back on the road since p&p, but the '90 Gl is pulling strong on 198k miles, so something must have happened.
