Gday i would like 2 know if it is possable 2 put an XR8 throttlebody on an EL XR6 ? Are the XR8 throttle bodys bigger and if they are would it give any advantages? And what about Tsearies throttle bodies? they r differnt again arnt they? if anybody can can shed some light on this subjuct for me i would appreciate it alot ,thanx Kegs!

Larger throttle bodies on the 6's amke them harder to drive at low speeds etc as you get a larger amount of air in for a small movement. The T series (5.6L) has a cam arrangement on the throttle body to make them easier to drive down low. Save your time and money. Herrod will also tell you they are a waste of time.

I meant no to the above thread.Not what you said.I agree with you..v8's up to now have 65mm t/bodies. Same size as i.l 6's..
