Just wondering everyones opinion on doing this. Bang for buck is the aim. 500 holleys are going for too much so im considering this.

I have two manifolds and two carbies in perfect condition.

The idea is to either:
1) somehow 'cut' off two base plates for the weber and relocate each infront of cylinder 2 and 5 welded on.

2)Use the original inlet manifolds as they are but cut off three runners and run a flexable tube between the two for equal pressure. This would be two manifolds of 3, where as the other is one manifold.

Throttle would be connected together with a linking bar.

All emissions gear will stay, but coolant heater system wouldnt be inplace in #2 as it would be cut through on both.
Would the mechanical fuel pump be able to provide enough fuel with a T bar to split fuel to both carbs?
