This is a real 1999 Tickford TE50, number 56 out of approximately 150 made. We are after $12,500 for it. Wont be interested in selling the car in parts.

We are located in the Eastern Suburbs, about 15 min from Melbourne.

Essentially this car has mainly rear damage but also minor front damage. The front damage consists of a scratched RHS front head light, repairable cracked front bumper and a dented RHS front guard. Basically the front consists of panel damage. However, the front lower cross-member may need a little attention.

The rear damage is more structural. The rear affected areas are the rear bumper bar, boot lid, RHS rear quarter panel and rear floor pan. The rear chassis rails have moved but every panel beater has said it is still in fairly good condition and is definitely repairable.

TYPE: Sedan
Km: 127,000KM
ENGINE: Tickford V8 (200kw)
TRANSMISSION: Factory Optioned Tiptronic
DIFF: 3.45 LSD (tight and quiet)
COLOR: Burgundy
OTHERS: Owners Log book, Cruise Control, Trip Computer, ABS, Climate Control, Power windows, Factory amplifier and Subwoofer, Tinted windows, Dual airbags

Pacemaker extractors
• Sports muffler (sounds very tough)
• Herrod intake snorkel
• Herrod mandrel bent aluminum intake
• K&N air-filter
• 18inch ANZ alloy wheels, Bridgestone Potenza tires (85% tread left), 235\40\R18
• Pedders shock absorbers all around
• Series 3 XR6 spoiler

The special Tickford features that come with this vehicle include:
• Tickford’s hand built and more powerful 200kw, 420Nm V8
• 329mm grooved rotors with twin piston PBR Mustang Cobra front calipers
• Independent rear suspension
• Tiptronic Automatic gearbox
• TE50 body kit, (front bumper, TE50 grill, TE50 side skirt, spoiler, rear spoiler)
• TE50 head lights
• TE50 bucket seats
• TE50 leather wrapped MOMO steering wheel with thumb controls for up and down shifts. This is different to XR8 MOMO steering wheel as they don’t have the ability to shift gears up and down)
• Tickford instrument cluster with ICE blue back light and LCD display indicating gear selected (1 , 2 , 3 , 4 )
• Premium Sound, includes better speakers, CD stacker, Amplifier and Subwoofer
• Tickford owner’s manual

The sides of the car are in perfect condition. The paint still maintains its sharp colour.

This car can still be driven. The engine is firm and smooth. It starts up with ease. Both the gear box and limited slip differential is very quite and responsive.

The semi leather and fabric interior is very clean. It is still soft and fresh. There is no odour or cigarette burns present. All the electronics work. Only problems are the missing Tickford badges from the door trims.

Overall this car is a pleasure to drive but it just needs some TLC to return it back to its former glory.

I have already bought a genuine TE50 rear bumper bar with mesh insert, genuine TE50 cat-back exhaust and a genuine TE50 boot lid with a genuine TE50 spoiler. This car is ready to be fixed up. Furthermore, I can organize ford staff discount prices for any other parts.

This is my little project that I bought off an insurance company. Hence to re-register this car, it would need to go through the VIV process.

I have been quoted $3000 for the panel beaters repair bill which includes the labour and paint cost. The rear floor pan and the rear quarter panel are the main parts needed to finish the project.

Inspection is welcome. Email me at [email protected] or PM is fine.

Regards Patrick
