So overall in town and freeway running, is it a lot worse than say a Holley 650, because you've got 8 venturi's dumping gas into the inlet manifold instead of 4, or is that a bit of urban legend, and the gas consumption is basically the same as running a 4 barrell??

I now have 650dp......it is way better than webers on fuel but the sacrifice is torque and lots of it.
