So overall in town and freeway running, is it a lot worse than say a Holley 650, because you've got 8 venturi's dumping gas into the inlet manifold instead of 4, or is that a bit of urban legend, and the gas consumption is basically the same as running a 4 barrell??
Can anyone here give me reliable information on the '84 - '87 351W H.O. engines that were in pickups. They had 4 barrel carbs. and were supposed to have a higher horsepower. Other forums say the heads were a problem and that they didn't have much if any advantage over the heads that would have...
