Howdy...

I have twin Lincolns in my 1963 Chris Craft Conqueror motor boat. At 960 hours each, I am ready to rebuild them. They have 9.5/1 Compression, solid lifters, and the WCFB Carburetors. They bleed blue, and I am hoping that even though they turn propellors instead of Slicks, someone might have done this before. In the dark ages, I worked at an auto machine shop, so I am somewhat prepared for the deal.

Ford calls them MELs and assigns a CID of 431 even though they have 430 CID. They added the "one" for the switch to Alternators from PMG.

Any experience out there?

Not really, my step father and some friends used to race a boat that had a 429 slightly modified, but the engine was from a dragster, not sure where it came from before that.
