V8!!! No doubt. Last jan I spent $4000 getting my 250 xflow up to scratch, Worked head and cam done by COME racing, new intake manifold, Holley 465 carby, full exhaust. It was manual

I killed that 6 cylinder engine and now have a 351 with an auto transmission which I paid $3000 to get put in along with new extractors and exhaust system and it would kill the 6 cylinder in every aspect. The 8 also uses less fuel and sounds so much better. It puts you back in the seat so much harder and overtaking is now effortless.

I wish I didnt waste the money on the 6 like I did.
My advice is if you plan to work a 6 cylinder add a turbo in or just get an 8 to begin with. They have more potential.

I have recently bought a 351 in place of my 250 Xflow....

Unsure which would be better atm......

As what DansEdgli said if you go the six turbo or supercharge it.

superchargers and turbo's do the trick..... but really they are just making a smaller engine displace the same amount air/fuel as a bigger displacement NA engine that why xdpanelvan you should go for the Twin turbo'ed 351!
