Personally I don't care unless someone is stupid enough to try me. This is a great board and it can be moderated. I was hoping Ford people from other boards could use this as a common ground. Bon was always going to change as more members spoke up. I like the fact Bon has more people participating but at the same time it no longer feels like home. Just lately there have been language and expressions that have been unfortunate. I believe the future is this board as Bon no longer seem to have the breaking news that they were famous for. Is there a place for both forums, not sure. I hope so. I think this forum has scope to really take over, but to do so people who are on other ford forums have to join.
I thought that place was supposed to be a ford site, but it looks like it's a gathering of people who hate ford but own them anyways. Then there's the people who work for Ford and have problems with the company. I like this place better, people actually like their Fords.
I'm starting to prefer this site more and more. Especially after reading all the stupid debates about 347 strokers etc on the BON boards.
It's easier to navigate and it's moderated. I preferred BON when it was an ugly website designed on a MAC at least it had inside news on Ford engines and cars. Now who cares if Ford is using second parts or is in some dumb court case.
Thanks for all the great comments folks. The goal of this site is for folks to meet and talk about their Ford cars, learn some, teach some and have fun. the goal here is not really to give the latest on Ford, if we get something or a member psots it, GREAT! but we are hear to let folks TALK!
And it is a clever little board too. Sensorship on the run. It replaced my B***h automaticly. Wonder what else it does. Some Bon members posts would look like this "Some ***********************************"
It was you Dk that informed me of their free speech opinions. I think there needs to be a balance and sometimes I think that some of what is said reflects badly on our counrty. Some words on this forum get sensored that I thought would be ok but overall I think it is a beter way to be. Everyone is the same.
I realise that I informed you of their free speech viewpoint, that doesn't however mean i gotta like it.
I do support it to a point, until it goes too far like it has.
That is why I am not going to post there until something is done about it. I went close to doing it once before, now I do do it.
life in this board is good, it's my new home. I hope the decent peoples from BON get over here and we can make a new community without the stuff that went on over there and if it starts we have a moderator anyway....

There were too many machines to photo today, including Leno and his Brough SS 100, but the 350 Manx was my favorite bike there. I just had to post these to show that Britbikes can be beautiful, unlike the '81 "Trumpet" TS-8.
The Triumph TS8-1 Prototype was released as a last-gasp effort by the struggling British motorcycle marque in 1981 as a touring motorcycle to compete with the likes of the BMW R100RT.
Triumph has built some of the most famous motorcycles in the world over the course of their history, and most...
