hey mate.. got a xr6t myself aint worked it but have looked around everywhere with prices and things..have found out so much into.. they say an exhaust (if u spend good money) can give me 40kw at the wheels (so they say) u should look into a cold air intake like one of the ss induction ones or any other place that does cold aint induction... exhaust is deff a good idea and they say that the turbos that are on the xr6's r good for 1000hp (dont know how true it is but they say they r awsome turbos) but if you have a stock motor ide be more worried about how much psi the motor could handle.. like the valve springs and things like that. they say running 10-12psi is pretty good for that motor to handle, dont know about any more then that. there are heaps of ways to get power out of these cars also the dump pipe.. i have been told that the main things to do are intercooler, capa flush tuning, dump pipe, exhaust, cold air induction upgrade, injectors, valve springs (if upgrading psi and power) some people have said fuel pump but only a few. so if that helps i hope it does.. cause im in the save vote as you looking around for good power at the right price

chears mategood luck

im keen to see how your boost controller works on ur xr6t mate, is it a elcetrontic one or a manual bleed one? i have been told the electronic one can not be used or interfaced with the ecu and a manual bleed one will only increase boost up to the point of the ecu allowing extra boost which is only like 2-3 psi, thats why the capa flash tune, custome tune on the rollers turbo back exhaust injectors is prob the best way to go about fetching 300+ rwkw, but best of luck with it all.

do you live under a rock buddy?? you can do everything with a capa flash tune, you pre set the boost levels tho u dont get the ability to change boost on the fly like a electronic boot controller u have to stop and re flash the next set up,im very interested to see how they wire this boost controller via the computer and to see how you go changinge boost from say 8psi to 15 on the fly in your 6t. best of luck keep me posted

the best option is to forget the boost controller, get the flash tuner and some bigger injectors, a bigger intercooler, a high flow cat, get the XR8 under headlight intake or the typhoon intake and a good custom tune, with all those mods you should expect around 280+ rwkws, other than a high flow cat replacing the stock exhuast is not nescessary, although some people replace the centre mufler and replace it with hot dogs, I run these same mods and am getting 280+ rwkws, with the standard injectors and the flash tuner you should safley get 240-250rwkws

im getting a turbo back stainless steel exhaust twin 2.5 inch getting looking into the boost controller which i can program different boost levels through gears but still waiting on reply from manufacturer to see if it will work other wise i will go for the capa tuner. ive heard that the comp needs to be re tuned once you put the exhaust on... how much boost is safe ive got the trip tansmission so im a bit wary on what to do only had the car for a couple of months and not shit all about cars cheers for the advice so far

Mate, you get all that stuff and you are on your way north of 300rwkw, if you aren't I'd be thinking about seeing another tuner :)

10-12lb is about the max. for a stock XR6T motor, you'll find yourself running out of injector duty real fast around that point.

If you put an exhaust on, you will need to adjust the computer, either with an edit (possibly the best way) or an intercept unit like an Xede. There is a bloke floating around various forums (g'day Geea) who has both, with the Xede controlling only boost.

Google for xr6 turbo and hit "I'm feeling lucky" for good info.
