i have noticed with this eb i have just brought home i turned on the parkers to see if they where working and the fuel pump began to whirr to life, there was no key in the ignition, i figure this isnt normal so ihave guess i have a short but where would it be.

That is VERY unusual... the fuel pumps shouldn't be activated until the key is in the ON position. Even in Accessories position they should still be off. I have never heard of this before & suggest you approach an auto electrician about this. Cheers,

Corroded socket's connections where the relays plug in near the coolant expansion tank. Pull relays and spray generously with contact cleaner lubricant (or CRC or WD40 may work). Can also cause the self levelling suspension compressor to spring to life on Fairmonts, Fairlanes and LTD's. Common problem and not surprising when you mix coolant and copper contacts.

:hy: Thank's Aussieblue,my self levelling suspension compressor did that as well the other day after I remote locked it LoL

Sounds a bit like my parkers coming on every time I step on the anchors! Although I think my problem is caused by a bad earth...

I've seen a few people who wire the fuel pump in to the park light circuit. It's supposed to be like an anti-theft measure, you have to turn on the parkers to fire up the pump & then use the ignition as normal to start it. We have had a few come in to work like this, a real pain in the arse when they forget to tell you about it & you spend half an hour trying to work out what's wrong with the car!
