OK there was review in Motor manual Jan 1976 (pages 51 & 52). It had:

white painted bumpers.
white grill surround,
6 inch sports wheels (12 slotter steels)'
orange side stripes,
front 286 mm discs with rear drum brakes.
choice of blue and white or green and white paintwork,
auto or manual 500 hardtop with full GS pack (including bonnet scoop, dummy side vents, sports instrumentation, fake wood grain 3 spoke steering wheel, day night rear vision mirror, unmodified cooking version of the 302 V8 (not even dual exhaust), infinitely adjustable seats, white upholstery).
cost $6217 new and was considered a show rather than a go car.

Motor Manuals test of the auto gave a 17.2 sec and 131 km/h for the standing 400 metres. I guess it would be a good base for building a performace car though.

Just a quick question why were the JGS made in 302's and not in 351's???
