Nice hook-up! What'd the old girl pull?
i will have to get my books out , but i think it was a 13.50 and a 13.54 and something a bit slower.

i only got to do 3 runs on the day as i didnt qualify for the braket :whoaa:

because of me being a short arse ( 5`6" ) and the V gate shifter over on the far side of the hump, i was not prepared for the traction /g force ( used to race on a closed road near orange, nsw ) and could not pull myself out of the seat to select 3rd gear :wank2:

it should have been doing low to mid 12s ???

3 runs = 2 twisted 28 spline axels ( fitted the night before ) and a twisted input in the top loader.

but it was fuuunnnn :hy: :driver:

trying to sell my business , then i might get some time to get back into it again.

What's the deal? ...in the States, we're required to run with the windows up. In both photos, your's seem down. Do you have to put them up before launching?

Burnout Comp. Got to have your window down so you can stick your arm out and make a fist in the air!! Dunno why, just something that caught on after a blue XY at the Summernats
:priest: also helps you to breath when cabin fills with smoke. :driver:

When I started my build 12 years ago, everyone thought I was mad deburring the outside of the block & painting it body colour in Two pack, painting the entire undercarriage , body colour, fitting 15X12's on the rear, having a twin mandrell bent 3" exhaust, powder coating all the suspension parts bright silver, Having yellow noathane bushes custom made & hiding all wiring then finally HPC coating the entire exhaust( I was their first customer to do this. )

Now most of those things are readily available or common practice.

I applaud anyone that will build a car there ownway to the highest possible

wow... you must have been in the right spot at the right time to grab that one :hy:

there would not be too many left with that lower KMs on the clock. look after it .... the grandsons would have destroyed most of them by now.
