Bruiser, unfortunatley I do not have any pics up currently, I just got it in November. It is a 67 coupe, originally an S-Code, but it is missing the 390 BB. I hope to put one back in it someday. It currently has a 351 Cleveland out of a 70 Galaxie in it, 2 barrel carb, that I hope to replace soon with a 4 barrel. It also has the original 4-speed top-loader tranny. It is diamond blue, even though it doesn't have the greatest paint job, that is fine with me as I hope to make it into a semi-daily driver. Interior is new, and looks pretty good, considering the previous owner did it. There is no rust, the trunk needs a little work, but there aren't any holes or anything to deal with. Right now, I am fighting an over-heating problem so I am working on the cooling system. I am also working on getting the guages working. The tach and temp guages don't work. As for Mustang shows, the next one near us is June 30 in Burlington, NC, here is the info:
The Gate City Triad Mustang Club, in cooperation with co-sponsors Colonial Mall of Burlington, NC and the Piedmont area Ford dealers are proud to announce that the 2001 Mustang, Shelby, Saleen, and Roush performance car Show will be held at the colonial mall parking lot, 180 Colonial Mall Burlington, NC (exit 141 i-40/ i-85 east or west) on Saturday, June 30, 2001. (rain date July 1) the gate will open at 8:00 am, gate closes and Judging begins at 11:00 am; autos will remain on the field until 3:30 pm.
Let me know if you think you are going to go. I am planning on heading up there myself. My wife usually likes to tag along as well. Maybe we can meet up somewhere or something. It would be nice to have another Stanger in the area. I work with a die hard Chevy man, and he bust my balls all the time. Anyway, let me know if you are going to try and head to Burlington for the show.
