Does anyone know the better stuff to use ??
I'm not talkign about WIndex and the liquid cleaner stuff, i'm talking the serious stuff that can clean rubber buildup and all that stuff.
I drove home last night in the rain and i could barely see out of the Drivers side wiper arc as all this buildup on the windscreen makes the glass all blurry in the rain with oncoming headlights...

i know what you mean. I need some of this stuff too.

When The wipers wipe away the rain, they leave a blurry streak. That eventually goes away, then by the time the wipers go again, its back. grr damn annoying.

I've tried various cleaners over many years and always come back to Bars Bugs for washer bottle and cleaning. Clean window and wiper rubbers with straight Bars Bugs and rinse and dry. Then use wipers in fine spray of water like rain. If windscreen still streaks, wiper rubbers have crap in them that you can't get out so time for new wiper rubbers. Get more expensive rubber wipers, not plastic ones which are less efficient and more inclined to scratch glass.

Don't use Rain X on front windsrcreen. I did last year and it made things worse when wipers were operating and it can't be removed by cleaning. It just has to wear off, which takes ages.

Use Auto Glyms glass polish followed by a good clean with Meguiars glass cleaner......u wont be disapointed!!:nuts:

Yeap Meguiars to the rescue again, they really do make good stuff.

Once you've cleaned your windscreen, make sure you put some RainX on it. It makes it so much easier to see in the rain.
