Hi everyone,
We are a little lost with this one any ideas truly appreciated. Let me try and explain the symptoms..

Car is a fully restored xa hardtop dpwn to the last bolt being re zinc plated.
Is has been running driving fine for about 10k kms since back on the road.

Hardtop Hussle drove to the G.C. fine( a little hard to start)
Tried to start it day of the big cruise. No spark.
Ok so.
Checked every thing battery starter bla bla. It is running a msd ready to run dissy with a msd blaster ss coil. And nope while cranking less than 12 volts. So no go.
Long story short... tried everything now.
When the ign off main feed wire from battery to coil is 12.4 - 12.9
When ign on not cranking 11.5
When ign on cranking 10.???
Where is the power going. No other relay, switch or anything plugged. only the coil relay.
I dont get it.
Remember the msd coil and dissy had 12+ volts while cranking(swapped out the starter) for 10 000 km.
Really stumped here.
Sorry for the long post.
Help please

Could be the starter. If you have na amp clamp, see what your pulling. What kind of compression ratio are you running?

Check the coil relay, then the coil then the dizzie. Put a old spark plug in the dizzie end of King ignition lead (that goes from coil to dizzie) earth it to the engine and see if it sparks when you turn the engine over on the starter (no spark means coil or relay is faulty; if you get a spark fault is very likely in the dizzie).
