Hi I have a 98 XH Falcon ute that was running fine when we found it. It has since sat for 12 months and is now not starting. The engine winds over, I can hear the fuel pump when ignition is turned on and can also hear the ECU relay click when ignition is turned on. There is no flashing SMART LOCK light when ignition is turned on. There is fuel getting through the fuel filter.
Not sure about spark or injectors opening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for spark and number one with one of these Toledo Spark Plug Firing Tester Heavy Duty 302167 - 302167 or these Toledo Ignition Spark Tester Box Type - 302165 noting Ford specifies the spark must be able jump a minimum of 6mm for the car to start and run and if the ignition system is healthy it should be able to jump around 12mm, If it sat for 12 months the fuel may have gone off or the fuel rail rusted. Try topping up with some fresh 98 Octane fuel and inspect the inside of the fuel rail for signs of corrosion.
