Hi guys,

Yesterday I happened to drive an EF XR6 auto. I managed to open the throtle a few times and noticed a pause of high revs before changing gears. For example, when going from 2nd to 3rd, the revs would reach about 4000 rpm, stay there for about 1 second and then change gear. It also felt like the car wasn't pulling away when this was happening. Is this normal for an auto? By the way, the auto was in power mode. I've driven a few manual XR's an must say, they're alot more fun to drive. I'd rather one anyday!

Thanks,

Oz

Fellas,

nah, it wasn't my car... Ilooking for one to buy and was just test driving it. The ride was very smooth and the gear changes were also smooth. I was just worried about the pause of high revs. By the way, the car is going pretty cheap... $16,400!!! Full body kit, 16inch rims and excellent cond. Could this be a sign of problems???
