CV lift points?

The info in my '00 factory service manual seems to be contradictory. It says not to use the front control arms for lifting but their diagram shows two lift points in the center of same?? The manual also refers to "lower suspension arms"....same thing as control arms,right?

Front control arms and suspension arms are synonymous. Use the frame lift points (The front frame lift points are the rearmost points indicated on the diagram and are not part of the control arms), unless you need to lift the actual suspension components. Same for the rear. Do not use the rear axle center section section to lift the car.
