Hello, doing a engine swap on 1998 Ford Expedition and was told that the front end clip can be removed so we can pull the motor straight out and swap the new one straight in. I have done several YouTube searches on this subject. But, can't really find any detailed information on how this can be done. We have decided to move the truck into our garage to do the swap. However, we don't think we have the clearance to allow us to pull it up and out and get the other dropped back in. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

1998 Ford Expedition- Removal of front end clip
The front clip is spot welded together (inner fenders and radiator/condenser support), so some cutting would have to be done, then re-welded.

Looks like your best bet is to remove the radiator, A/C condenser, intake manifold, and harmonic balancer to make it easier.
