Does anyone know if you can buy the plugs to suit the AU injectors? I have a new set of 24's that are going ino my EB. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

PS ford were no help.

You can get the adaptor plugs from the US but they are expensive (around $150US for 8 from memory).

The pins to the injectors are the same for the au - e series aren't they, if you "modified" the plastic plug a little would they work?

I bought AU 24lb to put on my ed, didn't even realise they had different plugs till i checked this thread out....damn

You will beable to modify your plugs but they wont be sealed and you will risk getting moisure into the contacts etc. I cant remember which way round it is but one style of injector has wider spade terminals so it'll be either you can use AU injectors on an eseries loom (with mods) and not eseries on an au loom or the other way round. You'll figure it out.

Does anybody have an AU EEC wiring diagram? I'm after the wire colours because I want to see its its worth while to pull this loom to bits and mix and match plugs from my old one and create a unique loom that doesnt have the egr plug tps etc which are no longer needed. I don't know what several of the plugs on the AU loom do as most are different.

Maybe the seller should have pointed this out to you.
I might know someone who would buy them off you if your not going to use them.
Nah its ok, thanks for the offer, got them for a bargain, ill just modify my plugs. I've had to modify everything else on the car i'll just do them too....
