what does this do? have you tried it? i believe its an ignition problem but i dont want to go buying things and do trial and error. it can get pretty expensive. i spent 1500 on the LTD and it ended up being the leads, which were new mind you. but as the XR8 is under warranty i will let them do the changing at their expence.

yup it had something to do with the headers and the O2 sensors. i had it on the dyno and a custom tune fixed the problem. I think they add fuel in the tune.
There have been occasions where the sensor mounting positions do not match with the standard headers, and a patch cable is made up. The impedance of the cables do not match, and bingo false readings. Or the sensor was damaged in the removal and replacement
These issues were predominately in the early days of the BA release.

Changing the headers should also invovle a custom tune. Think about it. The car is set up as standard, changing the headers will have an impact, thus the engine tune needs to be addresssed.
