A 5.0 litre windsor from an e series model would be a better option, just stroke it.

 

They fit with some minor mods to the firewall, crossmember, tunnel, sump. Engine sits a little high so you have to play with the engine mounts. to much f**ken around just slip in a windsor and stroke it much easier.

yeah i was actually thikin about a windsor from an e series it does seem like the easier option. i was gonna go for the turbo setup but i dont entirely like forced enduction with a V8 it's straight to the power no lag and you cant beat the roar of a V8 compared to a shitty little blow off valve...
