P0300 and P0301-308 codes

1999 CVPI all stock, 110k on it. Haven't had an issue in 15k miles of daily use, however after a high speed run with a decent amount of weight in the car I got the blinking CEL of death and a random misfire.

It threw a p0300 p0301 p0303 p0307 first, I cleared the codes.

Then it threw a p0300 p0303 p0304, cleared again,

and finally p0300 p0301 p0303 p0308.

Clearly the p0300 random misfire is the real code here. What could I have done from a high speed run for a few moments to hurt this thing? It seems to not have a miss under harder throttle, or at least it isn't as noticeable. Idle and light acceleration is pretty bad. I'm seeing everything in my searches from dirty MAF to bad CPS. Could it just have been coincidence when this popped up or is there something that could have broken from going WOT well into OD?

Thanks in advance!

I agree with Logan. This appears to be an ignition problem and with that much mileage on the current COP's and plugs, it's time for a tune up anyway. Running full throttle will identify problems that existed in a relatively high mileage engine, but didn't show up until pushed. Don't forget to use new boot kits, springs, and resistors (if used).

If tuning up the ignition system doesn't clear the codes, check your knock sensor. It's buried under the intake manifold, tough to get to, but will throw all kinds of ignition codes (false misfires or knocks) if it's not properly torqued, corroded or just plain worn out.

After a series of tests, live data scans, putting a scope on the coils, comparative cranking compression tests, cylinder #3 is the culprit. It has 100% leakdown and 0psi compression. It appears to be losing compression through the exhaust valve.

I have a set of PI heads, so I'll be dropping them off at the machine shop to be checked out and the heads will be coming off for further inspection.
