Removing paint

I was out this morning and got back to my car to see some tosser has hit my car, leaving red paint on the back bumper :angry:

So what's the best way to get rid of it? I was thinking of getting out the polish to remove it but was unsure if that would work or not or the right thing to do, so I thought I'd ask on here.

try some turpentine, dony use thinners!

What he said, turps, and then polish if that doesn't work.
Even if the turps removes it, you will still need to lightly polish and then re-wax anyway as the turps will remove all wax.

if its only a light hit use some cutting compound lightly to remove the paint and and then re polish and wax it.

try some prepsol. good for removing stickers and stuff and won;t harm the paint.

i dont think prepsol will work all it will do is clean the paint that has been put on there. but i could be wrong no harm in trying.

Just try polish first, it should take it off, bug and tar remover is also pretty good.
